Volunteer: Tutor Student Athletes with the West Columbia Tigers Organization!The Lexington County Youth Sports Association (LCYSA) and the West Columbia Tigers (WCT) is a non-profit dedicated to providing safe, constructive programs that empower the youth in our communities. Their mission is to support young individuals in academics and athletics by offering opportunities for growth, exposure, and development. They are committed to fostering leadership, sportsmanship, and personal excellence grounded in strong spiritual foundation. Their tutoring program is looking for volunteers to meet every Wednesday evening from 6-7 PM to support student athletes (cheer, football, basketball, baseball, track & motor club) from gradesK-8th grade in the area of reading and/or math. On October 31, Irmo Elementary School will be hosting these programs and are looking for volunteers to present from 8am-11am. During this fun and interactive day, volunteers will be inspiring students to be successful in their future. *All materials and training is provided by Junior Achievement. *There are a total of 8 classrooms that will need 1-2 volunteers each.
