WIP is seeking volunteers to assist with the implementation of the Ready, Willing, and Able course. Overseen by WIP's grantee, Homeless No More, the Ready, Willing, and Able Program is a six week series of one hour classes on personal and professional development for a career foundation of self awareness, self confidence and life skills for employment and life. Participants keep a portfolio of strengths, areas for improvement and goals.
Volunteers will help to facilitate small group discussions and act as team leaders/facilitators. No specific experience or training is required.
Volunteers do not need to commit to six weeks. If someone can give time and direct service to one week, it works really well. For WIP investors who want to interact and directly help women, this is a great place to serve!
This six-week course will run once a week at Saint Lawrence Place from 6:30-7:30 pm, on Monday nights beginning April 15 and ending May 20.
