Who We Are
The Care Center was established in 1986 and from then they have chosen to work with families and individuals in our community who are facing emergencies trying to meet their basic living needs. We serve as an outreach ministry for churches in the Chapin, Little Mountain, White Rock, Peak, Pomaria, and Prosperity communities in answer to the call of Jesus Christ to serve the poor and needy.
What We Do
They offer a myriad of services such as:
- Scholarships
- Food Assistance
- Utility Assistance
- Vouchers: gas, kerosene, and thrift store
- Basic Skills Education
- Computer Lab
- Fan/Space Heater Distribution
- Children's Book Nook Literacy Lab
- Bible Distribution
- Health Services through the Good Samaritan Clinic
