Young Leaders Society

Plug in. Lead on. We’re a passionate group of United Way donors ages 21-40 who work to ensure that everyone has a safe place to call home, every child succeeds in school and everyone has access to quality health care.

YLS donors are not only exposed to the needs of our community through United Way and its many nonprofit partners, but are also deeply engaged with active young professionals who are eager to help others in need while experiencing personal growth. At nearly 500 strong, we believe that collectively, we can do more.

We have plenty of ways you can get involved with United Way’s work to make the Midlands a better place to live for everyone. Donors enjoy many exclusive opportunities throughout the year, including: • Volunteer projects • Networking • Professional development • Invitations to signature events like the YLS Oyster Roast and Cocktails & Conversations (donors only)
