The Storyteller Program is designed to build a team of trained ambassadors who can confidently share the United Way story, connect people to our mission, and inspire greater community engagement through giving, volunteering, and advocacy. We are taking staff through the training first, and then we will bring CI volunteers through the training.
Once we have activated storytellers, this is the pull we will call on to complete storyteller engagements at campaign kickoffs, captain training meetings, and other speaking opportunities.

Present a practice story
Demonstrate ability to follow the framework
Connect personal stories to community-wide impact
Deliver a clear invitation to engage through giving, volunteering, or advocacy
