We are so thankful for the many donors who make sure our storage room stays full, but we need help keeping it organized! Read below for more information on small projects that will help our shelter.
Outdoor Storage: At our children's shelter there is an outdoor storage for seasonal items. Thanks to the help of volunteers we are finally able to get to the items on the shelves, but most of it is really old or broken. We need someone who is willing to get a little dirty, can lift some heavy boxes, and loves organizing to sort through what is too old or broken, and what is still able to be used. This project is perfect for 1-3 volunteers.
Supply Storage: We keep extra supplies for the house in storage and use volunteers to sort through donations and keep it organized. When supplies are in boxes and it is hard to tell what we have! Organizing the storage space is great for one volunteer at a time as the storage space is small, and usually takes 2-4 hours. We can accommodate one volunteer about every two weeks.
*All new volunteers must read the Volunteer Handbook and sign & return the Volunteer Agreement before we can share our confidential location.
