Description

Historic Columbia is seeking volunteers to help with the 39th Annual Jubilee Festival of Black Culture and Heritage coming up on September 16th from 10:00am to 6:00pm.  This long running festival is held on the grounds of the historic Mann-Simons site and brings artisans, dancers, musicians and storytellers together to celebrate South Carolina’s black history and culture.

Help is needed with a variety of activities including event set up and break down, assisting with children's crafts and games, collecting surveys, face painting, and assisting with historic house tours and archaeological exhibits.  There are three shifts available, morning (10:30-1:00) mid-day (1:00-3:30) and afternoon (3:30-6:00)

We are happy to work with your schedule as needed.  Hope to see you at Jubilee!
