Women in Philanthropy has been asked to assist with the Third Annual Breaking Barriers Employment and Resource Fair. This Career fair will be held on Wednesday, October 23 at Richland Library in partnership with United Way of the Midlands and the Midlands Area Consortium for Homelessness for area residents looking for employment. Employers with open positions will be on hand.
Volunteers are needed for 3 different shifts:
1- on October 19th from 12-1PM 10 volunteers are needed to help stuff envelopes in preparation for the event. We will gather in a conference room at United Way (1818 Blanding Street)
2- Volunteers needed to assist with setup the evening before, October 22 from 5:30-8:30 PM. Volunteers this evening will help with setting out tables, putting on table cloths, rearranging tables, putting out chairs, labeling the tables, etc.
3- On the day of the event, October 23, from 8:30 AM-12:30 PM, 4 volunteers are needed to help with sign in and provide directions to customers and vendors.
