MRC needs 25 volunteers to help support Forest Lake Elementary’s NASA Family Night. This will be an evening full of fun that will help foster the love of STEM for 300-350 children. If you love STEM, games, and kids—This event is for you!
When: Thursday, March 7th Event is from 5:00-6:15, volunteer check-in is at 4:00
Where: Forest Lake Elementary gymnasium
What: In teams of 3, you will facilitate one STEM activity. Our activities range from board games to timed challenges. Instructions and tips will be provided prior to the event and reviewed during check-in.
All volunteers working on school property and with children directly are required to complete a background check. MRC covers the cost of all background checks, but if you would like to contribute all or a portion of the cost of your background check, you will be able to do so.
