This year’s Walk for Life and Famously Hot Pink Half Marathon, 5K + 10K will be October 12 with the Expo October 10-11 at Segra Park (formerly Spirit Communications Park). The event benefit has encouraged 29 years of fighting against breast cancer and benefiting Prisma Health Breast Cancer in the Midlands. Volunteer opportunities include course directing, registration check-in, food tent, park directions, merchandise, Expo set up and break down, and material distribution.
The Expo is 4-6 pm. on Thursday, October 10 and 7 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on Friday, October 11.
