Who We Are
The Dickerson Children’s Advocacy Center is a safe, child-centered space offering compassionate support and critical services—including forensic interviews, medical exams, mental health care, and victim advocacy—for children and teens, from birth to age 18, who have experienced abuse
What We Do
At the Dickerson Children’s Advocacy Center, we support children who have experienced physical or sexual abuse, drug endangerment, or exposure to violence. Our child-focused center offers a safe, nurturing environment where children and their non-abusive caregivers can access comprehensive services—all under one roof. From forensic interviews and medical exams to mental health counseling and victim advocacy, we provide the care and support families need in one location. This coordinated approach helps reduce additional stress and trauma, allowing children to begin healing in a place of safety and trust.
