Mission: To empower female veterans and women in the community to heal from trauma by teaching them sewing skills, fostering creative expression, and building a supportive community. Vision A world where every woman who has experienced trauma can reclaim her sense of wholeness, purpose, and connection through the therapeutic art of sewing.
What We Do
Sew and Heal is a nonprofit that helps women especially female veterans heal from trauma through sewing. It offers workshops where participants learn sewing skills while also finding emotional support, creative expression, and community.
