Central SC Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization that helps families build affordable housing. Habitat believes that affordable housing plays a critical role in strong and stable communities, and that there is a need for affordable housing here in the Midlands.

Construction: Utilizing volunteer and sponsor groups, Habitat builds homes for deserving families. The Central SC Habitat for Humanity has built over 250 homes in the Midlands since their founding.

Restore: The Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a home goods and furniture store that sells items that are donated from large retailers as well as individuals. All proceeds from the ReStore are reinvested into the Midlands and into Habitat for Humanity. 

Neighborhood Revitalization: Habitat's Neighborhood Revitalization program focuses on accomplishing smaller scale repair work across Lexington and Richland county. From repairing roofs and building ramps to installing support beams, etc.
