Back in 2016 we expanded and renovated our home for kids in foster care. Today we have a beautiful house for 30 kids that encourage healing, hope, and love. At the same time, we purchased a second location which has become our teen house.
This year our teen house is getting some much-needed updates to make it feel more like home - starting with a fresh coat of paint. Our house is very large, so the project will be split up into three dates. This is the sign up for the second date. If you want to get updates when the other dates are added simply become a fan of this page.
This date will be split into shifts, you are welcome to help out during both shifts! If you have experience in painting and would like to lead a group of inexperienced volunteers let us know! Each room will be assigned a leader to oversee the entire process. Volunteers will help move furniture away from the walls, cover the floors, paint the walls and put it back together again. Palmetto Place will provide all the supplies including paint, brushes, covers, etc. If you have a step stool or ladder you can bring with you, please do!
