Rising Kindergarteners and their families are special guests at this year's annual Countdown to Kindergarten Celebration! The celebration gives rising Kindergarteners a chance to practice school skills before the bell rings including:
• getting on and off a school bus
• holding lunch trays
• tasting nutritious snacks
• visiting a mock classroom
• enjoying hands-on learning activities at the museum.
Volunteers will assist with special activities to engage children and families in school-readiness preparation. Volunteers must be prepared to attend the entire shift from 4:00-8:30 p.m.
