Come read a story to the children enrolled in the Homeless No More Summer Camp! Each week of camp has an exciting theme, and the guest readers will read one book aloud to the group that goes with the theme, and one "feelings" book. The books will be provided, and only one volunteer is needed per day. The readers will begin at 12:45 PM and are asked to arrive about 10 minutes early to get settled. All volunteers must complete the Homeless No More volunteer form, linked here. Please submit your completed form to Sarah Brennecke at least 3 business days prior to your shift. Because you will be working with the children, you will not be permitted on site unless you have submitted this form, releasing your information for a SLED background check. Volunteers with a current SLED background check (in the past 3 months) may choose to submit your documentation instead. The cost of the background check is $8. We greatly appreciate your assistance in keeping the children safe! Volunteers are asked to please pay for their own background check, if you are able, by making an $8 donation here.
