Volunteers are needed for meal pick up and delivery Fridays in October. Pick up time is 11:30 am and deliveries will take about an hour. Senior Resources is now offering contactless pick-up and delivery. This means you will not have to come into direct contact with the clients nor do you need to exit your vehicle to pick up the meals. They offer a brief orientation that can be completed prior to your delivery or on the same day.
What you need to know:
- Volunteers are asked to bring TWO coolers with them (one for hot foods, one for cold milk and fruit)
- To pick up, you’ll enter off Gladden Street, which is right off Millwood Ave, where Senior Resources is located (2817 Millwood Ave).
- ALL volunteers are asked to complete a quick form prior to volunteering: https://sri.mowscheduler.com/volunteerapplication.
- Once you get you on the Meals on Wheels schedule, Senior Resources will ask for the names and contact information of the volunteers (emails are fine). They will let you know where you are assigned, your route locations, and any information that will help you in the volunteer process.
