United Way Midlands Young Leaders Society (YLS) is proud to roll up its sleeves and partner with Central Habitat for Humanity to help build safe, affordable housing right here in our community. Together, we’re not just constructing homes—we're building hope, stability, and a stronger future for local families.
This hands-on volunteer experience empowers emerging leaders to make a tangible impact while strengthening connections and leadership skills through service. Bring your friends and family! These homes are part of our Carter Builds in August, and construction will go through the end of November. Site is located at 1539 Benedict Street, Cayce, SC. This site will be two homes, side by side, to honor President Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter’s service to Habitat. Please dress comfortably, with closed toed shoes and the minimum volunteer age is 18 years of age. Thank you for joining us!
