Join MRC and YLS at Herbert A. Wood Elementary STEM Night!
MRC(Midlands Reading Consortium) believes in the power of engaged parents and a supportive community to enhance the educational experience of our students. We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help us create exciting and educational parent engagement events to foster a love of learning among our young students.
You will play a crucial role in creating a positive and fun learning environment for both parents and young students. Your responsibilities will include:
- Game Facilitation: Organize and lead educational games and activities for students and parents during school events.
- Assist with Setup: Help set up event materials, decorations, and game stations to create an inviting atmosphere.
- Engage Parents: Encourage parents to actively participate in the activities alongside their children, fostering a strong bond between families and the school.
- Promote Love of Learning: Share your enthusiasm for learning and education with young students.
- Time Commitment: After school hours, 5:00 pm -7:00 pm(Arrive at 4:15pm)
